A second day of practice for the AHL club of Manitoba today at hockey for all centre as they try to erase last weekend’s sweep at the hands of the Griffins and turn their focus to the home opener this weekend in Winnipeg against the IceHogs.

Skate news:

Jets prospect Chaz Lucius on the ice for this morning which is good as he didn’t play in Sunday’s game after he made his season debut on Saturday in Grand Rapids. Not present was his fellow prospect Tyrel Bauer this morning. He was scheduled to play Saturday in Grand Rapids but was a late scratch.

Health update:

As per head coach Mark Morrison defenceman Tyrel Bauer is day-to-day after stretching his back in a strange way during warm-up on Saturday. He added it was “nothing serious”.
