The Moose changed little on Tuesday after they swept their weekend set in Iowa against the Wild. They will continue to get ready to face the Griffins in Grand Rapid this upcoming weekend. We saw the return of Jets prospect Chaz Lucius to the ice yesterday as the team is calculated in how much he sees the ice this season.
Skate news:
Jets prospect Chaz Lucius was on the ice with his Moose teammates for a second straight day of practice. Everyone else appeared to be accounted for at skate. No changes to the forward lines while there was a bit of movement in the D pairs with Dylan Anhorn and Dmitry Kuzmin flipping partners.
Lines & D Pairs:
Toninato-Lambert-Ford
Chibrikov-Zhilkin-Shaw
King-Suess-AJF
Torgersson-Nikkanen-Liwiski
Empey-Golder-Conley-Lucius
Lundmark – Salomonsson
Kuzmin-Zloty
Anhorn– Bauer
Sautner – Barteaux
Power Play units:
PP1: Lambert, Ford, Toninato, Chibrikov & Salomonsson
PP2: AJF, Zhilkin, Shaw, Suess & Barteaux
There was a small development as later in the skate Chaz Lucius ditched the powder blue uniform of an extra for a white jersey to join PP2 during special teams drills. This was during second rotation through so maybe it’s something. Or maybe it’s nothing.
