The Moose hit the ice for the third straight day although today practice moved to hockey for all centre as they continue to ramp up ahead of their upcoming weekend set with the Wild which could help them clinch a playoff spot.
New face:
Before practice got underway there was some news as the Moose announced they had signed Jets 2023 7th rounder Connor Levis to an ATO. This will give the Winnipeg prospect an opportunity to continue his development now that his season in the WHL with Vancouver is over.
Skate news:
There was plenty going on today including the first appearance of Moose captain Jimmy Oligny with his teammates since he suffered a season-ending injury after just eight regular season games. His smile was ear-to-ear during the time he was on the ice. Additionally, there was the new face in Connor Levis wearing number 38 and skating alongside Colby Barlow and Daniel Torgersson. Speaking of Barlow it appears he’s giving his beard a fresh start ahead of playoffs as he was freshly shaven today at skate.
