The Moose had a less than stellar trip out west as they went to Abbotsford on Monday and returned on Thursday with no points after losing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Luckily for them they still have a seven point lead on both the Wild and Wolves for the fifth and final playoff spot. Coincidentally the two teams they will face on their four-game homestand will be the aforementioned AHL clubs of Iowa and Chicago starting with a pair of game against the latter team this weekend.

New signing:

The Moose announced they had signed college free agent Dylan Anhorn to an AHL deal for next season and an ATO for the remainder of this one.

Skate news:

Most of the team were present and accounted for with the exception of Nicholas Jones and Ashton Sautner.

Up next:

Manitoba will take on Chicago with a pair of matinee games this weekend. Saturday’s puck drop is at 2 PM CDT.
