The Moose took to the ice today for a quicker than normal practice as they were heading out to school across Winnipeg to participate in the Stick to Reading program.
Skate news:
Three guys missing from practice were Tyrel Bauer, Wyatt Bongiovanni and Danny Zhilkin.
Special Teams work:
The focus of today’s practice was mostly on special teams which currently rank 21st overall in power play and 30th overall in penalty kill. Head coach Mark Morrison feels on the power play they need to be “quicker, with some more execution. Have more of a shot mentality”.

PP: Heinola, Ford, Malott, Lambert, Chibrikov
PP: Capobianco, Toninato, AJF, Viel, Reichel
PK: Suess, Nikkanen, Lundmark, Sautner
PK: Jones, Torgersson, Stewart, Barteaux
