Not to be too hyperbolic as there is still plenty of season to go but the Moose need to start to string some wins together in order to have a realistic shot at a playoff spot. They are currently last in the Central with a 12-20-0 record which puts them nine points back of 4th place Grand Rapids. Fortunately for them they face the Griffins this weekend which is the start of 11 straight against divisional opponents.

Skate news:

No Brad Lambert today at skate. The Jets prospect was on the receiving end of this big hit last game. Also missing were Chaz Lucius (ankle), Nicholas Jones (unknown) and Carson Golder (back spasms).

The Moose are scheduled to practice again on Tuesday out at the hockey for all centre.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
