A second straight day on the ice for the Moose although today it was a skills day so they split up with the forwards, goalies and most of the coaching staff on one sheet of ice and the defencemen with assistant coach Eric Dubois on another.

Recalled:

The Jets recalled Dominic Toninato (as expected) from Manitoba ahead of their game against the Kings.

Skate news:

As expected Jets prospect Chaz Lucius was on the ice with his teammates as he returns from a lower-body injury. As were Henri Nikkanen and Oskari Salminen who had been dealing with illness on Tuesday. The only player missing today was Dean Stewart.

Once the skills were over guys had choice to head to the dressing room. Instead the majority of the forwards joined the defencemen and continued to work on their craft.

Up next:

Four members of the Moose will be participating in a Community Practice series this evening at Camp Manitou. On Thursday they will be back on the ice for practice as they get set to host the Admirals for the first time this season on Friday.
