The Moose had a day off on Tuesday as they got some rest following a pair of disappointing games against the Laval Rocket which saw them lose 6-2 on Sunday and then 5-2 on Monday. Overall they’ve lost four straight games to fall to 4-6-0 on the season.
Practice notes:
Collin Delia (sore groin) on the ice today for Moose practice. As was Oskari Salminen and Thomas Milic. From my head count all players were present and accounted for (i.e. no recalls to the Jets yet).
Speaking of a recall, given the line that Axel Jonsson-Fjällby was skating with today, my guess is he may be the player who gets the recall by Winnipeg with the news that Rasmus Kupari is out 4-7 weeks with a shoulder injury. The speedy Swede has three goals and two assists for five points in 10 games although he, much like the rest of the club, didn’t stand out particularly positively during this poor four game homestand.
Since the Jets were already lean when they reassigned Dominic Toninato he could likely be heading back up as well.
