Manitoba Moose reaction to Craig Cunningham collapsing on ice

On Saturday night the Moose were scheduled to play the final game of a five game road trip in Tuscon against the Roadrunners.  Just prior to puck drop Roadrunners captain Craig Cunningham required medical attention and the game was postponed.

Today was our first opportunity to speak to the Moose players about the situation that took place at the Tucson Convention Center.

Worth noting (and we learned this after our chats with the Moose players) but news from Arizona Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett via Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic indicated that “Cunningham is in stable but critical condition. His family is with him, and he’s receiving “unbelievable” care.”

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
