We spoke with a number of players this morning at the MTS IcePlex as the Manitoba Moose held their end of season exit interviews.
Health News:
Tucker Poolman was injured at the end of March in a game against the Rampage in San Antonio when he and Kilm Kostin collided. Since that time Poolman has been in a walking boot and told us today that he expects it to be a couple more weeks before he is ready to be active again but it depends on how it heals. JC Lipon was also hurt in San Antonio the next game when he suffered a shoulder injury. He told us that he expected to get back on the ice this week and prepare for playoffs. He added that he would’t need surgery. The Moose lost veteran Ryan White just before the final road trip of the regular season to a lower-body injury he suffered in practice which he indicated to us was “a tweak” but he is healthy enough to get back to training in Brandon soon.
