Manitoba Moose name four players as alternate captains; no captain this season

With the retirement of Winnipegger and last ever Atlanta Thrashers draft pick Peter Stoykewych from pro hockey last season it meant the Manitoba Moose would be without a captain in 2021.

Instead of naming one captain the team has opted to name four alternates being:

Kristian Reichel, CJ Suess, Jimmy Oligny and Ashton Sautner.

Suess/Reichel will wear the A full time while Oligny/Sautner will rotate.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
