Manitoba Moose forward Tyler Boland signs contract in DEL

In what is becoming a common post on this site these days another Moose player will be playing in the DEL. Today the Iserlohn Roosters announced that they have signed Newfoundlander Tyler Boland to a contract for the coming season in Germany.

Two of his teammates from last season in Cole Maier and Leon Gawanke signed there for the 2022-23 campaign (Cole for one year and Leon signed a four-year deal) while nine other former Moose players played in Germany last season, including:

Julian Melchiori
Zach Redmond
Spencer Machacek
Nolan Zajac
Ryan Olsen
JC Lipon
Skyler McKenzie
Hayden Shaw
Emile Poirier

Boland completed his second season as a pro in 2022-23 playing 44 games in the AHL with Manitoba and 11 games in the ECHL with Newfoundland. He also played a single playoff game for the Moose and nine with the Growlers after he was assigned there once Manitoba had been eliminated by Milwaukee.
