It was quite the season for the Moose in 2023-24 as they had one of the youngest teams in the American Hockey League with an influx of Jets prospects to the mix including Brad Lambert (2022 1st), Nikita Chibrikov (2021 2nd), Chaz Lucius (2021 1st, Danny Zhilkin (2022 3rd) who would all be spending their first full seasons in Manitoba.
They stayed in the mix until they hit a major roadblock in January which saw them lose 11 straight games (0-10-1) and the playoffs seemed highly unlikely. However, the vets began to produce as did the young guns and they had a stabilizing force in net with first-year pro Thomas Milic (2023 5th) who was recalled from the ECHL and helped the Moose turnaround their season. He went 19-9-2 with Manitoba bringing a winning attitude from his time in Seattle to Manitoba.
Join us for a two hour chat as we wrap up another AHL season with our end of Moose season roundtable.
