A big part of the Moose mantra is community involvement. Their captain Jimmy Oligny embodies this and even though an injury last summer kept him off the ice it didn’t keep him out of the community.

We learned two days ago that he would be the Moose nominee and today the AHL announced he had won it.

He becomes the second player in team history to win this award. Jimmy Roy, currently in player development, won during the Moose 1.0 days.
