Manitoba Moose captain Jimmy Oligny injured and is expected out until at least Christmas

The Moose will be without their captain Jimmy Oligny for some time to start the 2022-23 season as he suffered an injury during training this summer that will keep him out of the lineup until at least Christmas.

May explain some of the recent left side additions by the Jets/Moose as they fill the spot which will be left vacant by their missing captain.

Tough news for the player and the team as he benefits them with his leadership on the ice and his willingness to stand up for his teammates.

Oligny played 67 games last season contributing four goals and 13 assists.
