There’s a sense of excitement around this AHL season, thanks to a strong mix of proven pros and a promising group of young talent — including both prospects and newly acquired players.
On Thursday the Moose named their leadership group which included veteran Mason Shaw being named as the 13th captain in franchise history.

D (10): Tyrel Bauer, Isaac Phillips, Dawson Barteaux, Ashton Sautner, Ben Zloty, Ville Heinola, Ethan Frisch, Elias Salomonsson, Dylan Anhorn and Kale Clague.
F (15): Walker Duehr, Reece Vitelli, Kevin Conley, Samuel Fagemo, Danny Zhilkin, Mason Shaw, Tyson Empey, Jacob Julien*, Fabian Wagner, Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Brayden Yager, Phil Di Giuseppe, Colby Barlow, Jack O’Leary and Chase Yoder.
*Prospect Jacob Julien out 6-8 weeks with a lower-body injury.
