From the Buffalo News:

The Buffalo Sabres released their variable pricing schedule today and announced they have added a fifth level they called “Platinum.” The only games at this most pricey level are the three against the Toronto Maple Leafs and one Friday night game (Feb. 6) against the Montreal Canadiens.

The post goes on to say that the Sabres actually dropped all other ticket prices by 15%, so I have no problem with this arrangement.  The organization knows that those four higher priced games are usually attended by a ton of Canadiens/Leafs fans from up north, so if they are going to playing a road game at home, then might as well make some money off of it.
