The day got started with the Jets reducing their training camp roster from 41 to 36 which was a bit of a surprise as it seemed likely they’d make a larger cut but they are scrimmaging today so perhaps they needed numbers. It’s possible they put guys on waivers or make additional cuts today given Moose training camp starts today.
Skate notes:
While there are 36 guys left in camp that number is actually 34 with Ville Heinola and Logan Stanley injured. All players were present and accounted for.

No further cuts:
There was some thought the Jets could further reduce their training camp roster later today (via waivers) or simply by assigning more guys to the Moose but head coach Scott Arniel confirmed no further cuts today or tomorrow.
