Late push fails as Jets’ season slips further in 2–1 loss to Detroit

The late push does not materialize into a tying goal and the Jets drop another game, this time 2-1 in Motor City versus Detroit. With the loss, the Jets suffered their 19th defeat of the season which comes in game 38, when last year it came in game 71 on March 23rd.

NHL game 700 for Jets defenceman Josh Morrissey, who was named to the Canadian Olympic team earlier today.

While the Jets woes continue with their seventh straight loss (0-4-3) the game did see the seventh goal of the season for Logan Stanley who continues to pick up the goals this season.
