Late Afternoon Delight: Bar Star

  • It was nice while it lasted fake Brian Burke.  Gotta love Twitter.
  • Chris Chelios thinks Sean Avery will enjoy owning a bar.  Went to Cheli’s this year but it was closed.
  • Bill Watters is gaining in the ratings battle with Bob McCown in the Toronto sports market.  Nick Kypreos is now listed as it’s complicated on Facebook.
  • Do the Oilers have a need at center?  I just need to see the Blues lose, Anaheim lose and the Oilers win tonight.  The crazy Oil fans will suddenly kick back into, “We can make the playoffs” gear.
  • Ryan Smyth is done for the year.  The Avalanche has had a season to forget.
  • Pierre LeBrun looks at Peter DeBoer’s first season as head coach of the Panthers.  He’s done a very good job with that young team.
