• Whether a player is one a two-way contract or a one-way won’t be the determining factor when it comes to roster decisions made by the Flames, says GM Darryl Sutter. That is the way it should be.
  • Claude Lemieux is pumped about his possible comeback to the NHL.  Is this comeback real? I have always been in full support of a player playing the game as long as he wants, but this seems like the reach of all reaches.
  • Michael Russo with news and notes about the Wild.  I bet Colton Gillies makes that squad.
  • Hockey historian Joe Pelletier reviews a book about Canadian teams at the World Championships.  If you are into international hockey and like the history of the game this book is up your alley.
  • James Mirtle with a powerful quote from Jason Blake about the adversity he is facing.  People need to read quotes like that more often to realize that hockey is just a game.
  • The Leafs don’t want a rookie GM to run their shown after Cliff Fletcher.  Don’t really understand that rationale.  Just because you have experience, that’s no guarantee of success.
