  • According to Marian Gaborik’s agent, the speedy Slovak has instructed his agent to try and get a deal done with the Wild. If you read closely, that doesn’t really mean anything.  Of course he is going to “try” and get a deal done but that doesn’t mean he “must” get a deal done. 
  • Jeff Friesen is looking good at Sharks camp. If he keeps playing well, he will make the team.
  • Cody Hodgson could make the Canucks this season, writes Iain MacIntyre.  They need scoring but they might be putting too much pressure on him if he is on the team this season.
  • Is the Bertuzzi-Langkow-Iginla line already looking good?  It’s training camp, let’s not get carried away.
