Keeping tabs on Team Neufeld on day 2 of Winnipeg Jets training camp

The afternoon session got underway on day 2 of Jets training camp at hockey for all centre with Team Neufeld.

Missing in action:

Pair of defencemen were missing today as Ville Heinola and Simon Lundmark both didn’t skate. Will have to wait to hear what head coach Scott Arniel says about their status.

Health news:

We learned that the reason Simon Lundmark wasn’t skating was he blocked a shot yesterday but it doesn’t seem to be too significant. Unfortunately for Ville Heinola the news wasn’t as mild as he has an infection in the ankle that he had surgery on last season and is not considered “day-to-day” as per head coach Scott Arniel.

Up next:
Tomorrow is a gameday but we don’t yet know the makeup of the game group vs the non-game group. Morning skate is at 10 AM while the practice groups will skate at 11:45 AM and then have a scrimmage at 12:30 PM.
