Jonathan Toews leaves Jets game vs Wild; Head coach Scott Arniel says he tweaked something

The Jets were in St. Paul for the fifth preseason game taking on the Wild.

With just under 11 minutes remaining in the 2nd period Jonathan Toews took his final shift of the period. Nothing appeared amiss. He wouldn’t return for the 3rd period.

After the game head coach Scott Arniel was asked for an update on the CJOB post-game show and he indicated that Toews tweaked something and that he’d be evaluated in Winnipeg.

The Jets are off tomorrow so first update will likely be on Thursday.
