Jets Week in Review

Taking a look back at the week that was and catching you up on all the Jets news.  Remember that we are always happy to have your input so feel free to share your week in review thoughts.

Monday:

Game Day Preview:  Jets @ Senators.  Ez gives you the game story for the Kraft Hockeyville game.

Jets on a  Deadline:  Jets defeat Senators.  Ez steps in for Drew and provides some post-game analysis.

Tuesday:

Jets cut 20 from the roster.  The list of 20 guys who were let go.

Projecting the Winnipeg Jets opening day roster.  Remis tries his hand at figuring out which players you might expect to see against the Canadiens on October 9th.

Wednesday:

Game Day Preview:  Hurricanes @ Jets.  Ez took a look at the two squads and gives you the pre-game 411.

Jets on a  Dealine:  Jets calm the Hurricanes.  Ez again steps in for Drew and provides some post-game analysis.

Thursday:

We hit the snooze button.  At least in terms of original content.  We still brought you all the days Jets links in the Morning Papers and Afternoon News.

Friday:

Note – Jets release four.  David Koci released.  Carl Klingberg reassigned to IceCaps.  Brett Festerling and Spencer Machacek reassigned with intention of being reassigned to IceCaps.

Game Day Preview:  Predators @ Jets.  Ezra takes a look at all aspects of tonight’s game.

Jets on a Deadline:  Jets vs. Predators.  Drew recaps the night’s action, including the 3 star selection made by Illegal Curve.

Saturday:

Note – Tim Stapleton placed on waivers.

Post-Game Soundbites – Preds Colin Wilson.  Had a chance to talk to the Winnipeg native and Predators forward following the Jets/Preds game to get his thoughts on the game, the return of the NHL to the Peg’ and what it means to play against the returned Jets.

Post-Game Soundbites – Preds Coach Barry Trotz.  We caught up with Nashville’s coach and Manitoba native Barry Trotz who gave us his post game thoughts.

Part 1 of the IC Radio Show.  Special Season preview show.  Guests included Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada and Gabe Desjardains of Behind the Net & Arctic Ice Hockey.

Part 2 of the IC Radio special ‘Fantasy Hockey’ Show.  The season preview show continues with the guys looking at Northeast Division, Atlantic Division,Central Division,Northwest Divisio, Pacific Division.

Sunday:

Note – Jets release 3.  Janne Pesonen released.  Paul Postma and Jason Gregoire assigned to the IceCaps.

Winnipeg Jets Tickets begin to arrive.  Giving you an inside look at the packaging and the tickets that Jets season ticket holders received in the mail late last week.

The pre-season finally concluded on Friday and the city has an exciting week ahead until next Sunday’s home opener against Montreal Canadiens.  Looking forward to another exciting week of Jets news starting tomorrow with Morning papers.
