The Jets got down to 42 players after they cut 17 on October 1st.  Following last night’s 4-2 win over the Senators coach Paul Maurice indicated he would want to get his training camp group down to a more manageable number.  With the Moose training camp hitting day 2 it was thought that the Jets would cut down and that is exactly what happened today.

Jets Release:

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have re-assigned nine players from training camp including the following eight players to the Manitoba Moose:

Eric Comrie
Kevin Czuczman
Quinton Howden*
Brenden Kichton*
Scott Kosmachuk
Jan Kostalek
JC Lipon*
Jack Roslovic
*pending waivers

Logan Stanley has been returned to his junior club (Windsor, OHL).

The Jets now have 21 forwards, nine defencemen and three goaltenders remaining at training camp.
