Jets on a Deadline – Wings 7 Jets 1 (Dec 10, 2011)

Final Score:  Red Wings 7 Jets 1.

It is with good reason the Wings are 12-2-1 at Joe Louis Arena.  Aside from a quick goal 35 seconds into the 1st period the Jets were never really in control.  The Wings bombarded the Jets all night, resulting in Pavelec getting pulled in the 3rd period.  Surprisingly the Jets outshot the Wing 30-29.
