Jets on a Deadline–Jets v. Bruins (Nov 26, 2011)

The Jets built a two goal lead but some questionable penalties at the end of the 1st period gave Boston some life and they narrowed the lead as the Stanley Cup champs scored 4 unanswered to win the game 4-2.  The Jets return home for a 5 game homestand starting on Tuesday against the Senators.

Here are some recaps from the newspapers:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Cup-champion Bruins beat rookie Jets.

Winnipeg Sun:  Bruins defeat Jets 4-2.

Globe and Mail:  Bruins overcome jitters to beat Jets.

Boston Globe:  Bruins bounce back to drop Jets.

Boston Herald:  Bruins get back on track.

ESPN:  Bruins Kelly proving to be key contributor.

ESPN:  Julien’s TO turns tide for Bruins.

NHL.com:  Thomas rolls along as B’s beat Jets.

Three Stars:
