Jets defenceman Luke Schenn played playoffs with cracked ribs

It was clear that Jets defenceman Luke Schenn was dealing with something during the playoffs. He alluded to as much when we spoke with him during one of the series.

Today during exit media availability he told us that he suffered cracked ribs in Game 2 of the series against the Blues.

Turned out his brother Brayden was also dealing with something but they didn’t find out until that series had concluded. Oddly enough they both suffered their respective injury in the same spot of their body. And if you need someone to keep a secret then you can trust their dad as he knew both of his kids were dealing with something and didn’t tell either of them.

Here is a link to his media availability from this morning.
