Jan Kostalek season ends early; trying out for Czech Republic (Worlds)

Bit more World Championship news as I’ve learned that Moose defenceman Jan Kostalek has been granted permission by the organization to head over to Europe to try out for the Czech Republic World Championship team.  This means he will end his season with the Moose a little early as Manitoba still have two games remaining in their schedule with games on Thursday and Friday in Cleveland.

In his second season with the Moose the Jets 4th rounder in 2013 has two goals and five assists in 60 games.

And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
