Injury Update: Winnipeg Jets Bryan Little is out indefinitely

Jets bench boss Paul Maurice announced this morning that Bryan Little is out indefinitely.  Said it will be “a longer term injury.  We will have a better idea of how long in a couple of weeks.”

On where the team misses Little the most when he is not in the lineup: “Experience and his versatility.  You can play just about any kind of different winger with him and put him in either role.  You can put him with defensive guys and he can play against the other team’s best or some offensive guys and he can continue to do that.  He’s our most experienced centre iceman, strongest right handed draw man, power play/penalty kill.  So there isn’t a piece of our game that we won’t miss him in.”

When asked later in the scrum if Little would require surgery the coach indicated that no surgery will be required.
