Injury Update: Tobias Enstrom had surgery, recovery time 2-3 weeks

He played just 1:22 of the first period on Saturday evening here in Winnipeg before he was hooked by Tampa’s Nikita Kucherov, which we were told on Monday caused some swelling which they needed to go down before they could properly assess the situation.

Today in Pittsburgh the Jets bench boss revealed to the media that Enstrom had surgery yesterday.  From the Jets twitter account: “Toby Enstrom had surgery yesterday on an existing lower body injury. His timeline for recovery is 2-3 weeks.”
