From Habs Eyes on the Prize:
CKAC Sports has learned that not only has Mathieu Schneider made the trip to New York with the Canadiens, but that he could also be in the lineup against the Rangers, if not then Thursday against the Bruins.
On this morning edition of “Sport Du Lit”, CKAC play by playman Martin Maguire confirmed to host Danile Langevin that Schneider is “not ruled out” for tonight’s game, and that it is almost certain that he will play in Boston.

This is unconfirmed (sorry my french is too rusty) but if accurate would be huge for Montreal’s plans to make it to the playoffs and perhaps past the 1st round. Schneider on the power play has been sorely missed (i.e. last night’s miserable 5 on 3 versus Ottawa which led to nothing).
He's closing in on his first game since January 13th.
The 2024 2nd rounder is in Winnipeg where he'll spend the rest of the season…
