Injury news: Paul Postma suffered injury in 2nd period vs Bolts; out for “weeks”

It couldn’t have been easy for Paul Postma to sit for 27 straight games to finally get into the Jets lineup (playing his 100th game no less) and then to sustain a lower body injury that his coach told us this morning was a “significant lower body” and would see him miss “weeks not days”.  The Jets bench boss did say that they would have a better idea in the next 3-4 days of  a timeline for Postma’s return.  But the impression he left us with was if the news was good it would be “weeks” and if not then even longer.

Impressively despite suffering this injury he finished the game on Saturday night for the Jets playing over 23 minutes.
