In addition to working with and learning from an incredible list of teammates and goalie coaches, Macintyre was also the reason cat-eye cages are no longer allowed in the CHL, and once scored a game-winning goal in overtime with the butt end of his stick. Add in some lessons between the pipes and between the ears that can help every goalie, goalie coach and goalie parent and you’ll quickly understand why the Jets tabbed him for a coaching job so soon after his playing career ended, and why this is another can’t miss episode.
