In Nikolaj Ehlers Winnipeg return his Hurricanes hold off Jets for 4-3 win

The Jets win streak ends at two as Nikolaj Ehlers and his Hurricanes win 4-3 to defeat his old club.

For those who would like to take a deeper dive into the advanced stats click here to see the results from the game via Natural Stat Trick.

Notable:

Nikolaj Ehlers wanted to give as many warm-up pucks to fans as he could ahead of his first game as a visitor in Winnipeg. He did fire a puck at 55 and then waved Mark Scheifele off the ice. Of course 55 was last off.

What a moment for Thomas Milic as he got to back-up for the first time ever in an NHL game. Suspect there are lots of folks in his home province of BC, the state of Washington (where he played junior for Seattle) and lots of Moose (and Admirals) folks cheering this moment.

Standing O from the Winnipeg crowd for Nikolaj Ehlers for his return video.

Dylan DeMelo stops Nikolaj Ehlers from scoring against his former team. That was quite the baseball swing from the D man.
