Last nights show took place as always at 7:00pm live from beautiful downtown Winnipeg.
In case you missed it, you can watch it here on UStream.
Here is a rough show outline. For the record I did not have the audio plugged in for the first 4 minutes, which is why it is so faint. At 4:10 I realized this and plugged it in and it drastically improved.
Also, the little dots on the player are “highlights” that I have bookmarked for quick viewing. They include, the interview with Anthony SanFilippo, Damien Cristodero, Rapid Fire and Cheers & Jeers.
The outline with (very) rough times.
0:00 Intro
0:05 Stanley Cup Finals – Position by position breakdown & predictions
0:20 Winnipeg Jets/Coyotes News
0:40 Flyers talk with Anthony SanFilippo (Delaware Daily County Times)
1:00 Steve Yzerman, new GM in Tampa Bay
1:20 More on the Yzerman signing with Damien Cristodero (St. Petersburg Times)
1:40 Rapid Fire – Topics:
1) Outspoken GM Brian Burke says drop the World Championships in Olympic years—thoughts?
2) The Islanders cancelled their training camp trip to China—While bad for the game is this a blessing in disguise for the players?
3) Should the Canadians have sent PK Subban back to Hamilton for the remainder of the Calder Cup Playoffs?
4) Of Marleau & Nabokov, who are the Sharks going to re-sign?
5) How much would you pay UFA Tomas Plekanec & RFAs Jaroslav Halak & Carey Price?
6) Reports have Washington making a serious run at Anton Volchenkov. For a defence needy team like Washington, what would you pay him?
7) Jiri Hudler is back with the Red Wings. Will there be animus in the dressing room for him having deserted the team to play in the KHL last year
Then Cheers & Jeers.
Thanks for reading, enjoy!
