I usually don’t post in the afternoons but I came across an interesting press release in the Detroit Free Press. Apparently Detroit has yet to sellout its season opener versus the defending Stanley Cup Champion Ducks on Wednesday night. Never mind the fact that this is a rematch from last year’s Western Conference Finals but it is the HOME OPENER! I know Detroit has some great fans but you cannot call yourself Hockeytown USA and then not sellout playoff games and home openers.

For Illegal Curve, I’m Richard Pollock.
