– Good Friend of Illegal Curve Josh Cooper of The Tennessean newspaper reported this morning that Predators Goaltender Pekka Rinne will be out a minimum of four weeks with a hip scope. Nashville has recalled Magnus Hellberg from the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) to replace Rinne.
– Mark Stuart (hip, day-to-day) and Jim Slater (undisclosed, day-to-day) are travelling with Jets on the current road trip. Claude Noel said early Thursday that Mark Stuart is good to go and will be a game-time decision which means he could go into the line-up tonight in place of Adam Pardy. Jim Slater will not play tonight.
– Winnipeg is ranked 26th overall in the NHL in Face-off Percentage (46.3%), Nashville is ranked 1st in the NHL in Face-Off Percentage (55.8%).
– Andrew Ladd and Evander Kane are tied for the Best Plus/Minus rating on the Jets at Plus-4. Matt Halischuk has the worst Plus/Minus Rating at Minus-4.
