In a completely meaningless game 82 the Jets put up a pretty decent effort with six spares in the lineup but the Avs take it 4-2. The regular season is now over.

Notable:
Quite a three day run for Dominic Toninato as he played Tuesday and Wednesday for the Moose in Texas and tonight is his third straight game in Colorado as he gets into his fifth game of the season for the Jets First game with Winnipeg since November 27th.
With the assist on the first Jets goal Brenden Dillon sets a new career high for points with 23 (2G 21A). He had 22 both in the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Sharks. The 21 assists also ties his career high for assists.
Morgan Barron continues to show well in his first full season with Winnipeg. Great heads up play shorthanded.
Broadcast indicates that Kevin Stenlund was missing from the bench to start the final frame. He appeared to be in some pain after he scored the shorthanded goal for Winnipeg.
David Rittich would have liked to have back the third goal for sure and the rebound on the first one.
