Tonight will feature of two 1st place teams as the top in the Central Jets (7-0-0) go up against the (tied for the) top in the Pacific Flames (5-1-1) in Calgary. There might not be a more surprising team in the NHL than the Flames who were seen as a team rebuilding but who clearly aren’t listening to what the pundits predicted for their hockey club. The home team are 3-1-0 at the Saddledome. On special teams they rank 15th on the power play and 24th on the penalty kill.
