Game 79: Jets vs Predators pre-game report

No surprises are expected today for the Jets as they look to get back on track and earn two critically important points for their standings bank. It would also allow them to put some daylight between themselves and the Predators who are just one point back of Winnipeg.

Morning Skate news:

Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet indicated that Connor Hellebuyck starting and that Cole Perfetti came out late in a non-contact uniform.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Connor-Dubois-Scheifele
Ehlers-Namestnikov-Wheeler
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Stenlund-Maenalanen

Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt

Betway Odds:

Despite coming in having won two straight the oddsmakers have given the edge to the home team, and not by a small margin. Nashville is a solid road team (19-16-4) but Winnipeg has been excellent at home (24-13-2). Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
