Game 79: Jets 4 Avalanche 1 post-game recap

After giving up the opening goal of the game the Jets scored four in the 3rd to take it 4-1 over the Avalanche to snap a four-game losing streak.

Notable:

Connor Hellebuyck set a franchise record for games played by a goalie (combined Thrashers/Jets) with his 380th.

It was game number 300 for Neal Pionk in the NHL.

Through 40 minutes not much doing although the end of the 2nd had some excitement.

Then after giving up a goal at the midpoint of the 3rd the Jets decide to score three goals in three minutes and 21 seconds.

Kyle Connor sets the new Jets 2.0 franchise record for goals in a season with his 45th eclipsing the 44 that Patrik Laine scored as a rookie.

Connor Hellebuyck picked up his 200th win.
