Game 77: Jets vs Rangers pre-game report

Coming to New York used to mean a visit with Jets 2012 1st rounder Jacob Trouba who has been with the Rangers since the big deal back in 2019. Of course a month after the 2022 trade deadline it also means seeing another Michiganite in Andrew Copp who was traded back on March 21st and appears to be thriving with his new club scoring five goals and adding eight assists for 13 points in 13 games.

We shall have to wait and see what happens with Pierre-Luc Dubois who was listed as taking a maintenance day by interim head coach Dave Lowry after practice on Monday. Adam Brooks skated in his place.

The Jets playoff odds are about as good as your odds for winning the lotto with their tragic number currently sitting at two.

According to Mitchell Clinton of JetsTV today’s morning skate in New York sees the reemergence of Pierre-Luc Dubois who didn’t skate yesterday.

As per the broadcast Connor Hellebuyck is under the weather so Mikhail Berdin will backup Eric Comrie tonight. The Moose goalie an emergency recall.
