Game 74: Jets vs. Golden Knights pre-game report

The Jets conclude their three-game road trip with a visit to Sin City to take on the red-hot Golden Knights.  Vegas has gone 9-1-0 in their last 10 games including three straight wins.  While T-Mobile Arena isn’t as feared as it was last season by visiting NHL teams, the Golden Knights still have one of the best home records in the Western Conference (22-10-4).

Morning Skate:

With the Jets playing last night in Anaheim no morning skate for them.  If there are any lineup changes we update accordingly.

Jets projected lineup:

Laine – Scheifele – Wheeler
Connor – Hayes – Ehlers
Tanev-Lowry-Little
Perreault-Copp-Roslovic

Morrow – Trouba
Kulikov – Myers
Chiarot – Niku

Brossoit
Hellebuyck

Audio:

Coach Maurice:  Laurent Brossoit in net?  Any changes among the skaters?  Vegas with Mark Stone.  Any updates on Byfuglien/Morrissey?  Mark Scheifele thought’s on the Jets effort last night.  Any sense that Patrik Laine is getting frustrated without scoring?  How did he like Joe Morrow’s game last night?

Asked about Josh Morrissey and Dustin Byfuglien the Jets bench boss indicated that “Josh will start skating next week and Dustin’s back on the ice.”
