Game 73: Jets 3 Flyers 2 post-game report

The Jets have now won three straight and are 3-0-1 in their last four contests.  Tonight the line of Blake Wheeler (1G 2A), Mark Scheifele (1G 2A) and Mathieu Perreault (1G 1A) were simply the best trio for either team.  Michael Hutchinson put in a solid performance to pick up his first win (in a game he started) since December 22nd.

Head into the Jets dressing room to hear from the players:

Blake Wheeler

Nelson Nogier

Michael Hutchinson

Mark Scheifele

Coach Maurice:  Thoughts on Nogier’s debut.  Slow start to the game.  Thoughts on the play of the Wheeler, Scheifele and Perreault line.  What has worked well on the power play the last four games?  What are the differences in the 1st and 2nd power play units that he has noticed?
