Notable:
Mason Appleton’s 25th career goal with the Jets. He’s no longer tied on the all-time list with Kyle Wellwood, Brandon Tanev, Alexander Burmistrov and Chris Thorburn. Now tied with Olli Jokinen at 23rd on that list.
Dylan DeMelo matches his career high for points picking up his 22nd point of season (4G 18A) which is the exact same total he had in 77 games with the Sens in 2018-19. (This year he did it in 66 games). His career high for assists was 20 in 2017-18 with the Sharks.
Kyle Connor finally broke his goalless streak as he scored his first in 12 games which gave the Jets a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period.
After the Ducks tied the game it was a brilliant pass by Brenden Dillon who found Adam Lowry who tipped the puck home to make it 3-2 for the visitors. With the assist he had on the first Jets goal it was also a milestone point for number 17 as it was his 200th in the NHL.
