The Jets have won two straight games against some pretty good competition in the Bruins and Flames to conclude the three games they played at home and now embark on a three game road trip starting tonight in L.A. The Kings on the other hand have lost two straight, have gone 2-6-2 in their last ten games and sit last in the Western Conference.
For now the lines and D pairs are simply based on the last game. They will be updated when the morning skate gets underway.
Morning Skate:
According to Jaime Thomas of Jets TV it appears the only change is Matt Hendricks skating in the spot where Jack Roslovic was skating last game. As per Jason Bell of the Winnipeg Free Press looks like Hendricks will indeed replace Roslovic (healthy scratch) and he also confirms that Laurent Brossoit gets the start in net
Jets projected lineup:
Laine – Scheifele – Wheeler
Connor – Hayes – Ehlers
Tanev-Lowry-Little
Perreault-Copp-Hendricks
Beaulieu – Trouba
Kulikov – Myers
Chiarot – Niku
Brossoit
Hellebuyck
Audio:
Matt Hendricks
Bryan Little
Kevin Hayes
Patrik Laine
Coach Maurice: What makes this the right game to get Matt Hendricks in? Why did Jack Roslovic come out? What is the biggest challenge playing a team below them in the standings? Finding reward in the close victory over the Flames. On Bryan Little versatility. Thoughts on how Kevin Hayes has adapted his game to being a member of the Jets? On the decision to start Brossoit. Impact of Matt Hendricks in the dressing room?
