Game 70: Jets vs. Bruins pre-game report

Both the Jets and Bruins come into tonight’s game having lost two straight.  Both squads will be looking to get things back on track inside Bell MTS Place in downtown Winnipeg this evening.

For now the lines and D pairs are simply based on the last game.  They will be updated when the morning skate gets underway.

Morning Skate:

From Mitchell Clinton of Jets TV we learn that Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele were out ahead of morning skate but did not take part in today’s optional.  It was a limited crew who did according to Mitch including Beaulieu, Trouba, Niku, Kulikov, Kiselevich, Morrow (non-contact), Laine, Roslovic, Lindholm, Hendricks.  According to Jets correspondent for the NHL Scott Billeck it will be Connor Hellebuyck starting in net for the Jets.

Jets projected lineup:

Laine – Scheifele – Wheeler
Connor – Hayes – Ehlers
Tanev-Lowry-Little
Perreault-Copp-Roslovic

Beaulieu – Trouba
Kulikov – Myers
Chiarot – Niku

Helllebuyck
Brossoit

Coach Maurice: What challenges do the Bruins present?  In today’s NHL is Brad Marchand unique?  More on Marchand.  How much are they missing Dustin Byfuglien?  Is everyone a little taller when Byfuglien is on the ice?  Will Boston bring out the best in the Jets?  His thoughts on the playoff structure?  Is there still juice after a playoff series the next season?
