The Jets were off yesterday as they travelled to Michigan following their one game back in Manitoba which saw them defeat the Blues 4-2 which meant they won consecutive games in a row for the first time this season.
As there was no practice yesterday the assumption is that all will remain the same from a lineup perspective. If that changes once morning skate gets underway we will update accordingly.
Wings leading scorer Alex DeBrincat has nine goals (most in the NHL) and is in 3rd spot for most points in the NHL with 13. However he is considered a game-time decision as he is dealing with an illness as per longtime Detroit beat writer Ansar Khan who did confirm that Manitoban James Remier will be between the pipes when puck drops.
Skate news:
As per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press there are no changes to the lineup.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor-Scheifele-Iafallo
Perfetti-Namestnikov-Ehlers
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Kupari-Gustafsson
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
Hellebuyck
Brossoit
Betway Odds:
The Red Wings boast an impressive 5-1-1 record sitting 2nd in the Atlantic Division with an impressive +14 goal differential. In four games at Little Caesars Arena they have yet to lose in regulation (3-0-1). Despite all of this the oddsmakers have Winnipeg with the slight edge over Detroit.
